WeRoad’s World Backpacker Days are back — and this time, we’re going big. Book any trip between March 16 and 23, 2026, score up to 30% off on a selection of itineraries, and walk away with a free Ferrino backpack made exclusively for us. The real kind. Technical, tough, and ready for whatever you throw at it — including half a Marrakech bazaar.

What are the World Backpacker Days?

Every year, WeRoad sets aside a week to celebrate the kind of travel we believe in: light, spontaneous, and genuinely transformative. Not a package. Not a checklist. The World Backpacker Days are our annual reminder that how you travel matters as much as where you go — and that the best adventures usually start with saying yes before you’ve figured out the rest.

The backpack: Pachamama 50

The name has a story. “Pachamama” means “Mother Earth” in Quechua — an Andean goddess of strength and fertility. But at WeRoad, Pachamama means something else too: she’s the alpaca plushie our co-founder Paolo brought back from the very first trip he ever coordinated. The one that started it all.

It felt right to give that name to this backpack. Bringing it to life took ambition, a few too many 36-hour days, and the kind of stubborn determination only our CMO Fabio could sustain.

The result? A technical 50L pack built in exclusive collaboration with Ferrino — you won’t find it in any store. It was made for us, and now it’s yours.

How it works

Book a WeRoad trip between March 16 and 23, 2026. Get the Pachamama 50 delivered straight to your door, free of charge. A selection of itineraries will also be discounted by up to 30% — so that trip you’ve had bookmarked for months might finally be within reach. No minimum spend. No destination restrictions. Just pick your adventure and go.

Why a backpack?

Because a backpack isn’t merch — it’s a travel companion. It’s what gets you on a chicken bus in Guatemala without a second thought, lets you pivot when a stranger tips you off about a beach that’s not on any map, and keeps you moving through cultures and landscapes without carrying anything you don’t need.

The Ferrino collaboration means the zips will still be running smoothly a decade from now, and your back will thank you for it — even after a full day on the trail.

2026: time to go

Japan, the Albanian Riviera, a jungle trek with no signal — whatever’s been sitting on your list, this is the moment. The Pachamama 50 will be there for everything that follows: the back alleys of Hanoi, the paths that don’t show up on Google Maps, the hole-in-the-wall bar you stumble into at eleven on a Tuesday. Less on your back, more room for the good stuff.

We’ll see you between March 16 and 23 — let’s celebrate World Backpacker Days together.
